Application Process
Thank you for your interest in the TMC Health Medical Education Program (THMEP) Pediatric Residency!
Our program accepts 6 PGY-1 positions each year. Applicants must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and we participate in the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). We will not accept any applicants outside the NRMP Match. Paper applications will also not be accepted.
Applicants are requested to include the following:
- Dean’s letter (MSPE)
- Medical school transcript
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal statement
- USMLE or COMLEX scores
- Three letters of recommendation from physician faculty members with whom you have worked directly

Interview Information
Interviews are by invitation only. Selected applicants will be notified via Thalamus and may then schedule their virtual interview. Invitations begin in October, with interviews held virtually in November, December, and January.
Interviews are conducted via Thalamus and Microsoft Teams with program leadership and staff. A reliable internet connection and audio/visual setup are required. Applicants will also have the opportunity to meet with current residents for an informal virtual social hour. Please note: all interviews are virtual; we do not offer on-site interviews at this time.

Visa Sponsorship
The Pediatric Residency has the ability to sponsor J-1 visa applicants through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). We do not sponsor H1B visas.
