Additional Annual Residency Stipends
- Benefit Stipend $3,800 – to offset the employee contribution to health insurance.
- Education Stipend $2,600 – reimbursed expenses that include step 3, conference registration/travel, books, and other approved expenses.
- Meal Allowance – residents receive a meal allowance based on their schedule and training year. Funds are loaded onto ID badges to be used at Tucson Medical Center.
Residency Benefits
- All THMEP residents receive four weeks of paid time off per year.
- All THMEP residents receive three wellness days per year.
