Residency Salary Stipend 2025-2026
Once the 2025-2026 Resident Stipends have been approved, we will update the salaries.
PGY 1 - $65, 983
PGY 2 - $68,917
PGY 3 - $72,478
PGY 4 - $76,120
Additional Annual Residency Stipends
- Benefit Stipend $3,800 – to offset the employee contribution to health insurance.
- Education Stipend – reimbursed expenses that include step 3, conference registration/travel, books, and other approved expenses.
- Meal Allowance – residents receive a meal allowance based on their schedule and training year. Funds are loaded onto ID badges to be used at Tucson Medical Center.
Residency Benefits
- All THMEP residents receive four weeks of paid time off per year.
- All THMEP residents receive three wellness days per year.
