University Medical Center

University Medical Center is the major teaching hospital for the University of Arizona College of Medicine and, in conjunction with the Health Sciences Center, is an excellent site for graduate, undergraduate, and continuing medical education programs and research. The College of Medicine Library is available to our residents at all times.

University Medical Center is a major teaching facility for the University of Arizona programs, including the University of Arizona-Tucson Hospitals Internal Medicine Residency Program and the University of Arizona-Tucson Hospitals General Surgery Residency Program.  THMEP Transitional Residents also may choose to pursue their subsequent residency training at this institution.
