The University of Arizona - Tucson Hospitals General Surgery Residency Program is an integrated program between THMEP and the University of Arizona and utilizes Tucson Medical Center, University Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital. Five years of training are provided with additional time available for research, if desired. THMEP transitional residents rotate on the surgical services at Tucson Medical Center.
